Intermac (2014) , replacing the previous Maccell brand for the development and manufacture of high-quality printing products for industry . From the outset, RED Jet has focused on the now highly successful TIJ (Thermal Inkjet ) technology. While this technology certainly has its disadvantages in the private sector (high costs for small quantities of consumables, drying out of ink, and nozzle clogging), these disadvantages are hardly noticeable in the commercial sector. The large consumption volumes and regular or continuous printing processes therefore make the technology's advantages particularly apparent.
Flexibility is crucial for RED Jet. Thanks to contactless printing, there are virtually no limitations on the printable surfaces or their spatial characteristics. Smooth or porous materials can be marked, as can curved surfaces or all types of extruded objects .
